A Collection Of Photographs Designed to Show the Very Essence Of The Symbolic Rose
This set of photographs started life as an experimentation of taking normal, everyday objects out of there intended surroundings, and placing them in a new environment, hence giving them a new meaning, and understanding to the audience.
The rose for example is naturally found on a rose bush, but at the same time has connotations of love and romance. Now there's nothing romantic about fishing around in a thorny rose bush, but if you take into account things like candlelit dinners, valentines day, and even places like paris, the symbolic rose begins to take on a new light.
